Questions

Is it AI?

No. It reads the strategy database with fixed rules. The same file gives the same report.

Which files does it read?

Trend IQ3 strategy files exported from SET, with a .IQ extension. One file is one controller.

How long does it take?

The report opens in the browser when decoding finishes. You can download it as a Word document.

What does it check?

Sensor offsets of 5 degrees or more, temperature points whose units are not degrees, schedules with no occupied times, overrides left on, outputs with nothing driving them, and a controller with no alarm destination. It also notes smaller items, such as a point that is not on the I/O schedule. It does not find every fault.

Does it connect to the site?

No. It only reads the file you upload. Values in the report are the ones stored in the file.

Where are files stored and processed?

The file is uploaded from your browser to Google Cloud in London (europe-west2). It is stored in Cloud Storage. The report is produced on Cloud Run in the same region, then stored with the file. Your account is held in Firestore, also in London. Nothing is sent to the building network. Files and reports are deleted 12 months after upload, or sooner if you delete them. See Security and data.

What network information is included?

The address details stored in that file: IP address, subnet, gateway, UDP port, MAC address and supervisor, when they are present. It does not scan the network and it does not write an IT request. See the sample.

What does it cost?

The first 5 files on an account are free. After that, 10 credits cost £100. You buy them in the tool, from the credits button. One credit is £10.

How do credits work?

One credit decodes one .IQ file, which is one controller. A credit is used only when the file decodes and the report is produced. A file we cannot decode does not use a credit. Decoding the same file again does not use another credit. If you upload more files than you have credits, the first ones that decode use your credits and the rest wait. The report is not shown until a credit has been used. Credits do not expire. They stay on the account until a file decodes. Signing out does not remove them. Signing in with the same address, a Gmail alias, or a plus-tag opens the same credits. Deleting a file does not use a credit, and it does not return a credit already used. The account cannot be deleted while credits remain, so unused credits are not removed by accident. Uploading a file does not charge your card. The free files are once per email address. Deleting the account does not reset them.

Can credits be lost without using them?

No. Credits do not expire, and they stay on the account until a file decodes. Signing out does not remove them. A file that does not decode does not use one. Deleting a file does not use one. The account cannot be deleted while credits remain. Buying credits adds them. It does not spend them.

Can I delete my account?

Not while any credits remain. The deletion is refused so unused credits are not removed by accident. Use the credits, or ask for a refund of unused ones, then delete the account from the account menu. Deleting the account removes your files. It does not give you another free allowance. The free files are once per email address.

How does payment work?

You choose the 10-credit pack and tick the box, then pay by card on Stripe. We record the account that is paying before you leave for Stripe, including the email, the pack and the amount. Credits are added from that record once Stripe confirms the payment of £100. We do not take the card details. Sending the same confirmation again does not add the credits twice. Closing the payment page, or cancelling, does not take credits and does not charge the card. A used credit cannot be cancelled. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. A refund removes the matching share of that pack. The balance is not taken below zero. If the amount paid is not £100, the credits are not added.

Can we upload a client's file?

You confirm you are allowed to share each file before it uploads.
